The author was born and raised in Oak Cliff (Dallas) Texas. She has been an insurance broker for over 45 years with clients in several states. Her experience of saving the elk when she lived in Colorado from 2006-2015 led to this children’s book being written. Wildlife can be amazing. A full grown elk that bugles is beautiful music to the ears. More books to come on her adventures with wild life in Colorado.
